My name is Jay Getz, I am a 29 year old male living in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio called Liberty Township. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems in December of 2000.  Using my degree in Information Systems, I took a position with a computer consulting company called Intralink where I was employed for 4 years.  In August of 2005, I left Intralink and took a job with Burrows Paper Corporation.

I have earned several professional computer certifications:

• MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
• MCP   - Microsoft Certified Professional
• CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
• CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional

Hopefully I will get a few more certifications under my belt as time passes. 

About Me - Personal
I grew up in Canton, Ohio, which is located in the North Eastern part of state.   Similar to most people, my childhood was filled with baseball, basketball, riding bikes and playing in the mud.  I attended and graduated from GlenOak High School in 1995, after which I decided to continue my studies as an Industrial Engineer at the University Of Cincinnati.  However, after about a year and a half of doing nothing other than constantly studying, I switched majors to Information Systems.  I held two CO-OP jobs while in college, one for Delphi Packard Electric and one for The Buschman Company.  Both of which provided me with valuable experience in the computer field and helped me finalize what I wanted to pursue as a profession.

In my free time, I enjoy doing odd chores around the house, hanging out at a local bar, playing Texas Hold 'Em, canoeing, waterskiing, watching movies (Check out the list of movies I own), playing with computers, fishing, or just plain old sleeping. 

Future Goals
One day, I may find myself back in school to get my MBA in Business Management, but who knows when that will happen.
